The
following is a copy of a email response to a Recent Letter about the
"conflict" between Really Ez Pools and Us. We don't seek top stir the
water, but when an disreputable threatens even the safety of our
customers we have to say something.
Dear xxxxxx There are several problems with the pool company you are referring to. It is not our policy to make enemies, or talk badly about any pool company, but we felt we had to mention this pool company.
The
first problem you have already run into. You can't contact them,
they have so many problem and failed pools out there, they do not
answer their e-mails and they answer the phone (when the do) as
Mike's Pizza
The
real problem though is with the pools. They are sub-par quality and
they fail at an alarming rate. The man behind the company was the
son of the man who founded KD pools, the first and best known
portable pools. The son started his own business (which has had
several name changes) and traded on his father's good name to
inveigle the top pool manufacturer (Cornelius Pools) and the Top
Internet Pool Retailer (Arthur's Pools) to sell his pools. Trusting
in the name of the father we both purchased a quantity of his
pools. As they started failing we stopped selling the pool and
Cornelius sent theirs back to the company.
The
company simply refused to support his products and it's warranties
and refused to answer the phones. Only by threatening legal action
were some customers able to get relief. The rest of the customers
came back to Arthur's Pools and Cornelius and demanded their money
back. This nearly sunk the pool company and caused us hardship.
More than a year later this person who heads the company, refuses to
answer phone calls and emails. Even though we both have
websites and we can can warn and he can vent, you have to compare
our history. His two year old pool company has a record of near 100%
pool failures, horrible customer service (if any) and hides from
it's problems. We have been in the above ground pool business since
just after World War 2 and have sold thousands of pools worldwide.
We do business with reputable companies who back up their product
(except for our one mistake of trusting his father's name). we do it
right. Below you will find quality comparison photos.

Hi, both you and ReallyEZ pools
have a pool size I'm interested in. I came accross something
where Arthur's and EZ seemed to have some kind of issue.
Before I make my final decision,
could you please tell me what that was about. Are there
problems with the EZ pool product that I haven't been able to
find.
I have emailed them, twice, but they
haven't responded and I can't seem to find anything, regarding
what this is all about. Only their online response to something
Arthur's must have said.
I hope you don't have any problem
shipping to Alaska.....I noticed you ship to
England....and....we're closer.
