Now it's time to finish up. You have reinstall the top rails of your pool by removing no more than two at a time, clamping on the liner retainers and re placing the top rail on top of the liner. Then and ONLY then when your liner is in it's final place, you can cut the holes for the skimmer and and the return. then you can trim the overlap, or leave it, as you please.
